At the thought of having to live
the life of Katniss Everdeen it makes me feel very blessed to live where I
live. She was facing a hunger not only for food but a hunger to live the life
of a normal teenage girl. The only way Katniss was going to get food is to
leave the district which is highly dangerous and illegal or to put her name in more
which gives her a better chance to be picked to compete in the hunger games.
Have you ever faced something that
you thought was a life or death situation? Because I doubt you have ever had to
face one as hard as Katniss did her sister was only in the drawing once but yet
she was chosen to compete in the hunger games. What would you have done?
Katniss knew what she was going to do right off the bat. Volunteer as tribute.
Throughout the whole book that particular part really showed Katniss true
character.
Also facing his fears and making
the best out of it is Josh Hamilton. Many people might know him as a great
baseball player from the Texas rangers. However it was just all fun and games
josh started to hang out with the wrong crowd after a motorcycle injury. This
lead to heavy drinking drug use and many other terrible things. Josh spent
months in jail. Then his family just got tired of it they put him in treatment
he kept bouncing in and out. Finally he got better and now look he’s one of the
greatest players in baseball.
Always remember if you over turn
you struggles there always good things that can come out of it. Look at Josh
Hamilton he’s doing great know. Katniss won the huger games. All it takes is a
good drive for some it there family for some there friends and for others it’s
that trophy. So may the odds be ever in your favor.
