Movies

Movies can take you almost anywhere from sad movies to happy movies, movies can take your emotions to a whole different level. I think that is a reason why so many people enjoys movies.

Chirstmas

 Authors note: This short story is on my feeling about Christmas.

Christmas is the greatest season off of all. Everyone is filled with cheer. I think to myself, why can’t it always be Christmas?  Everyone seems be a little nicer , but is Christmas based too much on the hole ( Santa) kind of thing and not enough on why there is Christmas Jesus he is the reason we celebrate the holiday to this day . The holiday is coming soon and when you wake up on Christmas morning and your enjoying opening up your presentsI want you to realize what the season is really about.

Baseball

Authors note: This story is on my past expereice in baseball and what I think about the great game.

Baseball is my favorite sport. It’s a hot summer day with a cool breeze and the you’re playing wiffle ball with your friends. To me that’s probably my favorite thing to do. I don’t not understand why anyone would not like it?

Soccer Is A terrible sport!

Author's Note: This short story is on why I think it is a completely point less sport. 

Soccer is the most pointless sport/games I have ever heard of. It’s not even challenge anyone can kick a soccer ball in a net. Who wants to turn on TV and watch someone kick a ball maybe it would be have way decent if there was some action. For anyone who plays soccer Id prefer that you quit and play a real sport. Something with some actual meaning. Like FOOTBALL!!!

Travels

 AUTHOR'S NOTE: Going on trips is fun espectially when you go to New York with my family. Going to New York was my favorite vacticions. I had so much fun and its not just going to New York I love traveling to places I've never been before.

Traveling you can be in the most remote area or in the middle of New York City. Travels can take you almost anywhere. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. The reason I like it so much is because I can spend time with my family and see things that are you thought you could never. Like one time when I was driving down to Alabama for spring break and we blew a spark plug in our engine and we were driving down one of the biggest high ways in the country and we had to stop in a town a population of about 97 people. So we stopped at this tiny car repair place and we got are car fixed but that was one of the best memories I’ve ever had. That’s another reason I like travels and I’d prefer it to anyone that can to do it.

The Miracle of the Blind Side

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Its hard living with a terrible life,but this book is based on a true story how Michale turn his life around. and how I felt about the book. Finally he gets to feel what its like to have a good family. Leigh takes him in and helps him go through his life.

Walking down the street in a snowy day with shorts and a tee shirt.Not knowing were to go or what to do next. That is exactly what Michale has to experience every day in the book blind side which actually happen to him because the book is based on a true. Michale is a high school-er living in Memphis Tennessee. With a highly troubled life. He has gone in and out of many school making bad decision after bad decision. With no dad and a mom that has a major drinking problem.  But finally so hope had come for Michael a close friend that has seen Michale's struggles. Decided to apply Michale into a Christan school on the other side of school. This school wasn't just any ordinary it was the Birarcrest Christan High School.

      The reason this was such a big deal is because its almost unheard of for some one the other side of town to go to this rich high school in the Memphis suburb. But Michael couldn't last in a public school how is he going to last in a private school,  fortunately they let Michale in. There’s a problem behind this though Michale is the most sigh non confident kid you'll every meet. Also standing at  6’5 and 309 pounds not many kid at his school were going to come up and talk to him. But one day Sean came up to him and was bound and determined to learn something about Michael. So he did and it made Michale allot less sigh.

Since the head basketball coach noticed Michale's confidence level went up he thought it would be a great idea for him to play basketball considering hes 6’5, and well he really provided it the coach stated “I’ve never seen a kid that big move that good.” Michale was a very successful basketball player. One day Sean's mom his dad a very wealthy man were driving around and Sean noticed Michale walking down the street shivering. So Sean wanted his mom to pull over so they did and they asked Michale what he was doing and he said he was going to basketball practice but that's not possible because the season was over and his mom asked him really why he was going to the gym and the true reason was because he need heat. That's when Sean's mom really realized that this boy need help. So she did she even offered for him to live at there home. This was incredible for Michale because Michale has never even slept in a bed

One hot summer day the football team was practicing and Michale walked by all alone, the coaches thought they'd go over to talk to him to see if he wanted to play football an he did. So he got his pads on and started out practicing. Unfortunately he was not the greatest football player and his mom had watched one of the practices and had enough she walked over and talked some sense into the coaches and Michale and it worked. Michale had actually started now and he played in the first game. During the first game Michale was getting whooped he was letting his men through and he couldn't do anything. Then he faced a turning point he was trying to not let the other players get under his skin and he had enough and he went out there and completely dominated. He did so good he actually was getting scouted by the best football team in the country. But there was one problem he couldn't get his grades high enough to go to a division one university. So his parents hired a tutor to come to his house and it helped. So he could play for pretty much any collage he wanted to.

This was a very very tough decision for Michale because his parents went to Ole  Miss and he wanted to go to LSU. Considering his parents did so much for him he thought he should go there so he did. Also there he did great so the next level was the NFL was he good enough well the Baltimore raven thought so they drafted him in the 2009 NFL draft. Now Michale is a very successful player and hes living a great life because of the change he made.

I thought the blind side was a great book and I would prefer it to anyone who is interested in sports.The only thing that i didn't like is it wasn't always is it wasn't always based on the main topic Michale's life. May be you ll be flipping through the channels on a Sunday and Michale's playing well you can stop and watch you'd probably realize that Michale's story is a true miracle.

Patriotism

Patriotism is waving the red white and blue American flag with pride Patriotism is wearing the U.S colors proud. The great men and women that fought and are fighting for are County that we shall honor every day. The United States alone from many other countries has freedom we get to chose what we want to wear were pick what religion you want to be. And who we want for our president.  This all comes from men and women we don’t even know. But that’s exactly why im proud of our country. Standing strong in the worst times and making it even better. A few years back I visited our countries capitals Washington D.C I was amazed at all the great memorials, ceremonies and statues. That were honoring past veterans presidents and important people to our country. If you’ve ever been there you’d completely understand.

Every Fourth of July we sit and look up in amazement. Fireworks are flashing American flags flying and the smell of summer is in the air. The dark night suddenly is light up by flashes in the sky the crowds cheering. If you haven’t already figured all these great events are for honoring the men and women fighting over seas. Before every sporting event you cap comes off your hand goes over your heart and the crowd quiets down. Then the song we all know as the national anthem comes on. Once again you’re honoring your country. You may not realize it but every day you’re honoring your country weather you like it or not. Patriotism is everywhere its hanging from a flag it’s everywhere you go. So never give up on your country and stand up strong for your country. The United States of America.

World series

Author's Notes This is to help you understand the great times baseball has given America and the the excitment of the game

I think the most exciting at bat in baseball is bases loaded with two out and a full count in game seven of the World Series. As the pitcher winds up and the batter grip is so tight on the bat his knuckles are white. The pitch is rocketing at the batter. The batter swings and his bat collide with the ball the ball tears through the air but could the ball clear the fence.  This is the sight at many World Series games. I’ve always wondered what the players experience when there playing in the World Series. That’s a dream I’ve always had to play on the best baseball team in the world.

The atmosphere has got to be the coolest thing you’ll ever see the fans don’t stop cheering the players play their hearts out and the umpires eyes are gulled to the ball don’t think I’d want to blow a call on national TV. It’s almost like the whole city stops to watch this game. But every once in a while the fans get out of control so you have to watch for that. There’s so much to do and see at the World Series and having a great game just adds onto the fun. If you’ve ever been to a world series you’d know exactly what I’m talking about. There’ another thing that makes it even better when your team in the World Series, and the brewers just made the playoffs. So I’m really hoping that the brewers can get a few wins in the playoffs.

There is a team that is in the playoffs almost every year they are one of the most hated teams in baseball but there always one of the best. This team is no other then the New York Yankees. The reasoning behind this is they have more money than any team in baseball, and unfortunately money wins World Series. That’s not good because the brewers don’t have money. But a good manger great fans and players that work hard any baseball team can win the World Series. Just money makes it a whole lot easier to win ball games

Baseball rivalries are the most fun games to watch. The biggest rivalry in baseball today still stands with the Boston Red Sox’s and the New York Yankees. This rivalry has been going on for years and years and years. These games can get out of hand the players on playing on there are playing the best and trying the hardest because they know millions and millions are watching. The brewers have their own rivalry with the Chicago cubs. When the cubs are in town the tickets go way faster than they would against any other team. Now the brewers are rolling along In the playoff and im hoping they can win the pennant I hope you enjoy this year’s world series and go brewers.
