Tackle Basketball

Author Note: This a short story on a new sport.

There are so many sports out there. There has always been a question in my mind, why we can’t combine sports? The perfect sport to do so is tackle basketball. This sport will be based around more of a guy atmosphere. The goal in this game is to get the ball in through the hoop. It might sound easy but there are no fouls so you can tackle people. However you’re obviously not going to want to get tackled on hard wood floor so there are going to be wrestling mats placed all around the court. On the mats there are markings on the mat where you get certain points depending where you are, a half court shot in basketball is 7 points, a shot from behind were the 3 point arch is a 4 point shot, and then any other shot counts as a 3.

I know that you’re not going to be able to throw a basketball consistently far so when you’re going to get tackled so that mean you’re going to have to use a smaller ball.   As a result I thought a perfect ball would be about half the size of a mens ball and have the laces of a football.  I almost forgot to mention the hoop is the same thing as baseball. I don’t think this will ever become a sport but I decided to through out there. You never know maybe you’ll be the next one to come out with the next big thing.

Dan Gable, arguably the best wrestler whose ever stepped foot on the mat. As a collage wrestler his overall record of 181-1. What do I think about the quote? I think it’s one of the truest quotes in sports. I see exactly where he’s coming from. I have been a wrestler for six years. It’s the hardest sport I’ve ever done. It's you and your opponent  you have no team mates to rely on and I'm telling you its not easy! I've worked so hard in wrestling that I've thrown up but you just got to keep going. You can’t be a successful without a good work ethic, and that’s what Dan Gable had. That's why I chose this quote. If you really think about it this quote can be related to any sport not just wrestling!

What Would it be like?

Author's Note: This is a short story on what I think it would be like if dog could talk or communicate with human

                                                                                 

 I really never thought of this but I’ve always wonder what does a dog feel or think. How does a dog communicate with another dog?  Many people want to and have tried to find the answer to this question but unfortunately it’s never worked. Don’t you just want to know what it would be like if you dog could talk to you. You could know what your dog wanted if it was hungry if it wanted to go to the bathroom. In other ways it would be crazy though dogs would be shouting at each other and it would be completely crazy, but you. never know maybe it could happen some day

                                                                                                 

Basketball

Authors Note: This essay is on my point of view of basketball and what I think about it.

Many people play basketball I don’t like it very much but I’m not against it. It is a great way to get exercise but the NBA is not very fun to watch there’s not a lot of action but I guess it can be ok. Another reason I don’t play it is because I wrestle and I think wrestling is a lot harder sport and gets you in better shape.

Shoe's Life Cycle

On and off the racks on stinky feet and clean feet unfortunately this is what I go through every day! I live with my friends in a great home called Finish Line. Everyone is trying to find a way to get on someone’s clean foot, but unfortunately that’s hard to find. Have you ever wonder what a shoes life is like? Well I’m going to show you exactly what a shoes life is all about.

First we are shipped straight from our makers directly to the store. That’s not the most fun ride all the workers through us around and treat us like were a piece of rubber. Who would do that? Then the truck takes us to a smaller truck so we can be shipped to the store. On the way there all the shoes are excited to find their new home. Hope fully it’s not always there home because we want to find a new home with a new owner. As we arrive I meet a bunch of new friends but I always wonder why some of my shoe friends look just like me. It kind of stinks I want to be special not likes everyone else. It’s still a good life for me

The best thing happened to me today a kid picked me up and I’m coming home right now. Life’s good but it stinks always having to touch the dirty floor but I think I can handle it. So I’ve took you through my life as a shoe so I hope you enjoys shoes.
